"Uhldi live" in the Lake Dwellings at Unteruhldingen -
Special Exhibit for the ARD TV-Village
|Starting on June 17, in the Lake Dwellings at Lake Constance the word is „Stone Age Live“. Each Sunday between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm, Stone Age Man „Uhldi“ demonstrates those handcraft techniques that were most essential to the first farmers in history. The visitors will find out what the test persons of the ARD-Series „Stone Age – The Experiment“ had to learn in a laborious process. Making pottery was part of it just like the production of razor-sharp tools with flint. Visitors can ask questions about the current TV-Series of the ARD and about Uhldi’s Life as a “Stone Age Man” in the Lake Dwelling Museum. New in Lake Dwellings is the original Film-Village of the TV-Series “Stone Age – The Experiment”. In the current special exhibit of the Film-Village, you can view many original props and artifacts used in the ARD documentary. All Lake Dwelling villages are open daily between 9:00 am and 7:00 pm. The last guided tour starts at 6:30 pm.
