Info barrier-free visit
The Museum is barrier-free throughout the most of the facilities. Handicapped parking is available directly in front of the Museum.
A "Kurbähnle" (resort shuttle train) connects the village parking lot during the season with the harbor. For boat passengers, it is just a short walk. The lake dwellings are situated immediately at the Lake Constance bike route.
On the grounds sufficiently broad foot bridges and doors offer accessibility to the villages; by way of ramps and elevators you can reach all exhibition areas within the museum buildings.
For groups of the visually impaired, blind or deaf persons, as well as learning disabled persons, we recommend to co-ordinate a date for a visit with us. The time between 9.00 am to approximately 10.30 am and after 3.00 pm is best suited for visits of your Lake Constance trip, since at those times a more individual support is ensured by our coworkers.
